Hoosier Hours with Haneefah

Hoosiers from all of Indiana's nine (9) congressional districts beginning with Porter County (1st District) on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 through Wednesday, June 9, 2021, are invited to spend an intimate hour with Haneefah Khaaliq. Haneefah Khaaliq is a previous public school teacher, adjunct professor, civil rights agency director, small business owner, and candidate running as a Democrat for U.S. Senate in Indiana. Pull up a chair, grab your favorite drink, and relax with Ms. Khaaliq as she discusses her goals to represent the entire state in the upper chamber of the U.S. Congress. Hoosiers for Haneefah Live Music Beach Bash

Haneefah Khaaliq is running as a Democrat for the U.S. Senate seat in Indiana in 2022. On Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 4-6 p.m. (CST) help her raise $12,000 in a single day during a live music beach bash hosted by Hoosiers for Haneefah.

The live event will feature performances by Shirley King, B.B. King's Daughter of the Blues and Halo Moon, a musical band. This Hoosiers for Haneefah event is significant for the overall unity movement which calls for an end to hateful rhetoric and instead calls for candidates with real solutions willing to work across the aisle. A true public servant with years of experience in community organizing and volunteering, Haneefah is not a career politician. A previous public school teacher turned lawyer, she manages a social service that connects low-income clients with attorneys willing to help nationwide. She is also an adjunct professor and local civil rights agency director.

Ms. Khaaliq is currently the only Hoosier candidate who promises to fight for cleaner energy, livable wages, a quality education for all, women's rights, civil rights, and so much more! Ms. Khaaliq made her announcement to run for U.S. Senate in 2019, successfully filed her candidacy in 2020, and has been working diligently to make sure Hoosiers know they have a chance to make a better choice in 2022!
